Gallese, VT Lazio
Gallese is a village surrounded by the green mountains of Tuscia, 30 Km from Viterbo and 60 km from Rome
Around the village dominates a variety of environments, passing from the ravines, to the hills, and then ending in the countryside and mountains, among which stands out Mount Soratte.
In this landscape rich in diversity, stands Gallese, with its Doge's Palace, medieval towers, Cathedral and crenellated walls. Walls, on the evening of August 7 become the scene of a spectacular Bengalata: a rain of fire that descends from the walls.
Gallese is rich in history, evidenced by the many buildings and palaces of the Old Town.
The village offers many cultural and non-cultural events, including the festival of threshing and Sagra of sausage and pasta of magro.
