Ronciglione is a "dual" village: medieval in its upper part, and Renaissance in the section added in the 1500s by the Farnese family. It boasts one of the 10 most beautiful Carnivals in Italy. A stop along the Northern Via Francigena, since 2023 Ronciglione has been proudly flying the flag of "Italy's Most Beautiful Villages." The charm of Ronciglione is complemented by Lake Vico, a volcanic lake nestled in its Natural Reserve between Mount Venere and Mount Fogliano.
